Rod Blagojevich on The View
I really think the Governonr of Illinois has lost it-that is, if he actually ever had it!
Bush's Letter to Obama (HD)
This is a particularly important video for me because it's the first film I've done in High Definition--and the experience taught me quite a bit!
It's also an important film for me because its the first Action Figure video I've done this year and during the administration of President Obama. I was having a lot of trouble getting a comedic handle on this New World, but I feel that I've finally gotten a grip on things. I have two other Action Figure films written and should have them filmed and posted within the next ten days.
Al Jazeera English
This is about as good of a recap of the Inauguration as you're likely to find--and it comes from an English Worldview. I also make a brief appearance near the middle of the piece as part of their coverage.
5 Favorite Inaugural Moments
I took some time on the night of the Inauguration to record a short list of my favorite moments of the Inauguration. One that I left out (I was tired) was the moment when Joe Biden and his wife were introduced as "Vice President Joseph Biden and Dr. Biden." Jill Biden has a doctorate and teaches at a Community College in Delaware.
SNL: No More Bush
Well, at long last George W. Bush's Reign of Stupidity is coming to an end. Too bad that the Good People at Saturday Night Live didn't come up with a decent send off for the guy in their last show of his Presidency.
Oh well. . .
SNL: Rachel Maddow and the "L" Word
Neil Patrick Harris was terrific, but the political comedy on the show wasn't up the their 2008 standards. . .
GM's Bend Over SALE!
Every time I see one of the commercials for GM's current "Emplyee Pricing" campaign, I find myself gritting my teeth. Would you really want to be treated like a GM employee lately (think job security.) And aren't we, the American People, the de facto owners of the company now?
In Memorium: 2008 Action Figures
2008 saw the passing of quite a few Action figures, whose like we may never see again. . .
WGN News Team Dance Party!
I saw this video on The Chicago Tribune's website this morning and felt that it could use a little music. This is apparently how the WGN TV weekend anchors spend the very long first commerical break of the newscast. I can think of a lot of worse ways to kill a little time. It apparently loosens the broadcast up after the "if it bleeds it leads" opening stories.
