John Kramer is a Democrat

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 6th, 2006 – With individuals and corporations falling over themselves to crack the impossible nut of how the “YouTube generation” thinks, local writer, bartender, husband, father John Kramer might just be the guy with the answers, with 6 new, original YouTube videos clocking in at over 130,000 hits in just a couple of short weeks.

The videos are short political parodies of the popular “Mac/PC” television ads. The various videos of the “I’m a Democrat” series have all received individual honors on the YouTube site, as well as attention from the power house blog site, Dailykos.com, the office of Gen. Wesley Clark and is featured in the November 6th New York Times business section.

John spends his days hacking away on his laptop at local coffee shops and his nights as a bartender at Second City. In his own words, "Working at the Second City all these years has turned me into a cracker-jack bartender with a sense of humor honed to a deadly edge by the comedic wit of a generation of the funniest people in the world -- many of whom I have gotten drunk on a regular basis."
Britethorn.com, John Kramer’s own website and brainchild, is underway, intended to furnish an outlet for further productions – including an election night Vlog Extravaganza entitled, “How to Survive a Liberal Uprising.”
