The Chicago Tribune!!

Aaron and I got some really great press in Robert K. Elder's SCREEN SCENE Column in today's Chicago Tribune:

CRACKLIN' SHORT FILM
Second City bartender John Kramer has taken home Sony Picture's first ever Crackle.com short film award. His political satire, "Hit Men," won the filmmaker a $15,000 development deal to provide content for Crackle, plus a chance to pitch a movie script to Columbia Pictures.

"What I love about doing Internet video is that nobody tells us what to do," said Kramer, 49. "It's such an unusual thing. You go do work, you do work that you believe in, then it sinks or swims on its own."

Kramer will travel to Hollywood to pitch action-adventure script "The Knight Owl's Heir" (with co-author Aaron Sjoholm) after the writers' strike is resolved. To view "Hit Men" and Kramer's other videos, visit www.britethorn.com or www.crackle.com.
