SOPA

WOW! At just a minute past midnight I just happened to surf over to Wikipedia to do a little research when I discovered that today is SOPA day on the internet. I had know this was coming, in order to protest the fatally flawed anti-internet piracy act which had at one time seemed fated to fly through Congress, sites like Google, Facebook and Wikipedia were planning a protest. But seeing that blacked out page where Wikipedia should be was really stunning. I've already used the links they provided to contact both my US Senators and my Congresswoman to let them know that the last thing I think Congress should be doing is monkeying around with the internet at the behest of corporate giants like Warner Bros. and Newscorp.
And if you happen to read this, I hope you follow those same links and let Washington know to keep their mitts off our internet.
