BP Oil's Ad Campaign
Three weeks ago I shot and posted this video:

I figured that it was only a matter of time before BP got around to launching some sort of "touchy-feely" ad campaign, so I thought I should beat them to the punch by launching my own parody of their future ad campaign.
As it turns out, I was right, because British Petroleum launched a 50 million dollar ad campaign late last week designed to calm the public down about the Oil Spill. Personally, I don't think they should have spent a dime on advertisements while the people of the Gulf states are seeing their economy, way of life, and environment choked to death by BP's oil spill. They shouldn't be doing this under a "business as usual" model. Their stockholders should be a distant concern under these extraordinary circumstances, because if they want to survive as a company they are going to have to do some amazing work at setting things right again in the Gulf waters -- if that's even possible.
In the meantime, I am happy to report that when you search on Google or YouTube for "BP Oil Commercial," my parody is showing up at the top of the video results -- often ahead of BP's own commercials.
