John Kramer's blog
Karl Rove is a Bigger Asshole than I thought !
Jake Tapper of ABCNews posted the following entry to his excellent Blog, Political Punch:
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/06/rove-obamas-the.html
I HIGHLY recommend that you read it in it's entirety, but these are the juiciest excerpts:
ABC News' Christianne Klein reports that at a breakfast with Republican insiders at the Capitol Hill Club this morning, former White House senior aide Karl Rove referred to Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, as "coolly arrogant."
American Ranger is on the Way!
...And he's going to be joined by his Pal, Uncle Sam, in a series of shorts which should debut sometime during the last two weeks of June. Keep your eyes peeled!
SaysMe.tv
Some of you may have noticed that we've been doing a lot more very short videos with the Action Figures--25 seconds long to be exact. The reason for this particular length is because of a startup internet site called Saysme.tv Their site is built around the notion that individuals, as well as candidates, political parties and special interest groups, should have the ability to easily and affordably buy television ad spots to get their messages out.
What's Happening at Britethorn?
As some of you may have noticed, we've been putting up a lot more vlog style films, as opposed to our Action Figure films or more traditional pieces. There are several reasons for this situation, most of which revolve around the fact that we're doing a LOT of waiting these days.
Our LA Trip
Well, we're back from our Pitch meeting in LA and Aaron and I both feel fantastic about the job we did in our meeting at Columbia Studios. We had two film projects which we put before one of Sony's Senior VP's, and we did about as good of a job with them as one could ever hope for.
This and That
Well, Aaron and I had a terrific time in San Francisco meeting with the good people of Crackle.com. They've been SUPER helpful in getting us ready for our pitch meeting with Columbia Studios in LA on this coming Friday, April 4th.
Unfortunately, with all the work we're doing on the pitches for Columbia, its been very hard to do much in the way of posting new videos to YouTube, Crackle or Myspace. We should have something new up on Monday, the last day of March, which we think will be VERY fun. Please keep an eye open for it.

Need I say more? HIT above to see the FUNNY picture!!!
LA or Bust
Well, we're under the gun now!
The most important part of the Prize that went along with winning Crackle.com's SHORTS competition (which was sponsored by SONY) was a pitch meeting at Columbia Studios. Because of the Writer's Guild strike, all of that had to be postponed for months, but now that the WGA strike has ended, we're moving at Warp 10 toward the meeting.
We will be traveling to LA at the beginning of April to pitch a completely new film idea. All I can say about it is that its a Romantic Comedy about someone finding true love.
Star Trek
Well, the new video, "Who Would Kirk Vote For" got quite a good launch yesterday. Steve Grove, the News and Political Director at YouTube, Featured it in News and Politics as well as his own CitizenTube vlog.
Chip Bradley did a terrific job on all the voices in this one. His Kirk went a little fast, but I'd blame that more on William Shatner than on Chip. McCoy and Spock were spot on!
What we're doing
If you look over to the left side of this Blog entry, you'll see the link for our award winning film, "Hit Men." In addition to the $15,000 we won, the bigger part of the prize was our pitch meeting with Columbia Studios. And now that the Writer's Guild strike appears to be ending (we couldn't pitch during the strike for a variety of legal and ethical reasons) Aaron and I are now working at Warp Factor 10 on what we'll be pitching when we head to LA.
