Shelly Gossman Going to SNL

Some of you may remember the interview I did last fall with Second City Chicago Actress Shelly Gossman last Fall.

About The Tea Party Video

Like a lot of you out there, I read in the Washington post today that, "A group of two dozen House Republicans, led by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), officially launched the congressional Tea Party Caucus on Wednesday, strongly defending the grass-roots conservative movement as a positive force in American politics and repeatedly insisting it does not have racist motives." And having read it, I shook my head and started to laugh at the thought of that group of two dozen morons gathering together to plan legislation and "strategery" at the national level.

Boobgate

So I posted the video below, "There's a Kitten on the Stairs," in the wee hours of the morning today. Imagine my surprise, then, to have been greeted by the news that the blogosphere is now abuzz with gossip that Sarah Palin may have received breast enhancement surgery. She attended the Belmont Stakes with her husband, Todd, and was wearing a white top which gave the appearance of her being a bit larger on top than she usually looks in the loose fitting t-shirts and jackets she is normally photographed wearing.
This is exactly the sort of thing my video was made to warn against.

BP Oil's Ad Campaign

Three weeks ago I shot and posted this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bafQBd4Zeg
I figured that it was only a matter of time before BP got around to launching some sort of "touchy-feely" ad campaign, so I thought I should beat them to the punch by launching my own parody of their future ad campaign.

Late Night Freak Show

My buddy Sam Locke, who appears in quite a few of my films -- as well as providing the Voice of George W. Bush -- is performing in a show he created with fellow Chicago Improv Junkie Peter Robards. Check it out!

Want To Laugh at Sam Locke?

Regular followers of Britethorn know that Sam Locke provides the voice for George W. Bush in many of our Action Figure videos. He also played the part of Schmadolph Schmittler in our Republican Wars series.
Well, Sam's thrown his hate into the Stand-up ring and if you'd like to see him be funny in person, he'll be the opening act for

Jailbreak Toys

For any of you who have taken a look at my video, "Michelle Obama Held at Customs," (just below this posting) please take some comfort in the fact that TIME has taken note of the company's plight.

2012 Mini Review

As regular visitors to Britethorn all know, I'm a huge face of Fantasy and Science Fiction, on film, television as well as in books, so it should be no surprise to anyone that I found my way to a movie theater for the opening weekend of SONY Picture's film, 2012.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I managed to see "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" on opening day, and after mulling the film over for 24 hrs, here are my thoughts on the film.

Britethorn and SNL

Well, the big new around Britethorn land is that I've pulled ALL of my SNL Reviews off YouTube. For a long time now I've worried that NBC/Universal's lawyers would come knocking at my YouTube door and yank the plug on those reviews because I don't have their explicit permission to post short clips from Saturday Night Live on YouTube.
